Hi All, i'm a newbie not only to this site and to being a pig owner, but also to owning a Mangalitza. We've just welcomed 3 piglets into our ever expanding managerie. They are in addition to our 4 rescued ex-battery hens, a rescued kitty (best mouser around) and 2 westies (and yes one of those is also a rescue), oh and I've taken on looking after the neighbours horse. We live in cotes d'armor in Brittany and would love to hear your tips and suggestions. We're currently living on a building site as we're renovating the place, in the hopes to open as a B&B and gite complex in Autumn 2009. Look forward to getting to know you all.

Yes Carole, Francis is your little boy (well not so little now). Still up at Lesley's at the moment but we'll move them on the 4th July to their new home. When they're settled in, I'll take some more piccies. but in the meantime I find my way round this site and work out how to post some piccies of them all on their first day with us. Thanks Katie for your warm welcome. Are there any members in Luxembourg or Belgium as I'll be working there next week?

lesley will be joining us here soon! She's hoping her little girlie Mangatliza will be like my Francis as his temprament and character are so appealing. Also he now has a new girlfriend as he's taken a real shine to our 9 week old Tamworth x glos Old Spot, and the two are now inseperable. so i guess they'll be making little piggies soon.
